Global Clean Beauty Brand 'Whamisa' Selected for Brand K

As global interest in Korea continues to rise through K-pop and K-beauty, more domestic brands are expanding overseas.

However, many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Korea, despite their quality and technological expertise, struggle to gain recognition in the market. Due to low brand awareness, it has been difficult for them to establish export channels. To support promising SMEs, the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center officially launched ‘Brand K,’ Korea’s national representative joint brand.

A representative stated, “As Brand K guarantees the technological capabilities of SMEs, only companies that pass a rigorous screening process are selected. Among them, the global clean beauty brand Whamisa has gained attention for its natural cosmetic product, the Cactus Inner Skin Moisture Bouncy Serum.”

The representative added, “The Cactus Inner Skin Moisture Bouncy Serum contains 99.47% cactus extract instead of purified water, making it highly effective for hydration. Clinical tests have confirmed that it provides deep hydration for 48 hours and surface hydration for 72 hours, in addition to soothing the skin and improving skin texture.”

Furthermore, the representative stated, “Whamisa is not only known for its cactus-based serum but is also a vegan and organic skincare brand that ferments raw ingredients such as flowers, seeds, roots, and fruits. The brand is committed to creating products that are beneficial to both nature and people.”

Recognized for its efforts through various certifications, including the German Derma certification, Whamisa currently exports to 35 countries worldwide.
