Organic skincare brand Whamisa announced on the 2nd that it has entered Le Bon Marché, one of the most prestigious department stores in Paris, France.
Opened in 1852, Le Bon Marché is a historic Parisian department store renowned as a global shopping destination that blends "art and luxury" while showcasing sophisticated and innovative brands.
Whamisa offers unique skincare products by combining organic botanical ingredients with traditional Korean fermentation techniques. In particular, the brand independently cultivates an excellent strain of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum ENS9265, discovered in traditional Korean kimchi, and utilizes it in its products. Whamisa's proprietary fermentation method helps deliver active ingredients deep into the skin and ensures smooth absorption. Through this process, it helps restore the skin's natural health and beauty while fostering a sustainable skin environment.
Whamisa has secured a spot on the second floor of the department store in a special corner dedicated to niche beauty brands. The company stated that since the launch, it has garnered strong interest from local Parisians and achieved remarkable sales performance.
